Comments: Imaged Saturn August 24th targeting a CM transit of the long lived Southern red spot, these data cover 3 hr 2 min of Saturn rotation. Have resolved considerable detail but all of it fades into insignificance as I have recovered AV. Detail resolved in these data AV is resolved at approx Lat+41.5 L3 97.6 resolved in IR. Note; my AV ephemeris extended from Oct 9th 2022 through to Oct 1 2023 predicted a L3 for this date of 98 degrees. A bright oval at approx Lat+30.1 L3 50.3 resolved in R, G and B data. A compact bright spot on edge of ring shadow at approx Lat-18.3 L1 93.1 resolved in IR data. A compact bright spot on edge of ring shadow at approx Lat-18.3 L1 134 resolved in IR and R data. A series of bright spots are seen mid SEB and I have marked one at approx Lat-32.2 L3 82.1 resolved in IR data. The long lived red spot is resolved at approx Lat-55.4 L3 30 resolved in IR and R also resolved in G and RGB as a dark spot.
