Comments: Imaged Saturn August 7th, have data covering 3 hr 1 min of Saturn rotation. Have good 685nm IR data, very good CH4 data, fair R data but poor G and B data so a rather ordinary RGB. Note a particularly interesting feature consisting of a v-bright elongated spot just below the ring shadow with an accompanying bright linear feature just below it. I previously captured this structure in my July 24th data. Detail resolved in these data. A v-bright elongated feature in the EZ at approx Lat+3.0 L1 206.6 resolved in IR data. A bright elongated spot on the edge of the ring shadow at approx Lat-18.3 L1 192.2 resolved in IR data. A bright elongated spot on the edge of the ring shadow at approx Lat-17.8 L1 291 resolved in IR and R data. A v-bright extended linear feature centered on approx Lat-24.7 extending from L1 293.5 to L1 274 the best data resolves this into a v-close series of bright spots resolved in IR data. A bright linear feature is seen mid SEB from limb to limb including a brighter section at approx Lat-31.6 L3 35.3 to L3 9.0 the best data resolves this into a v-close series of bright spots resolved in IR data. A bright oval in the STrZ impinging up into the SEB at approx Lat-29.5 L3 310.4 resolved in R data. The long lived red spot at approx Lat-55.6 L3 80.9 resolved in IR data.
