Comments: Imaged Saturn August 16th so one day after opposition, I was clouded out the previous night. Have good to very good data covering 2 hrs 45 min of Saturn rotation with numerous small scale details resolved so these data are a good example of hi-res detail for the 2022 opposition. The Seeliger effect is quite apparent with the ring brightness in these data. I note a prominent dark spot in the NNTeZ at approx Lat+64.5 L3 42.3 this is preceded by a fainter dark spot also in the NNTeZ at approx Lat+64.5 L3 5.7 I note a bright spot on the Southern edge of the NTeB at approx Lat+46.3 L3 65.7, two EZ / NEB ripples are resolved at approx Lat+14.5 L1 185.6 and Lat+14.8 l1 157.3. The thin bright cloud band in the NEB very near the EZ border is well resolved and there are several low contrast dark and bright features in the EZ. The persistent Southern hemisphere v-large dark spot is resolved at approx Lat-44.7 L3 100.8. The R channel data also resolves a faint bright spot in the NNTeZ at approx Lat+67.5 L3 25.5 along with a prominent bright spot in the NNTeB at approx Lat+62.9 L3 59
