Comments: Imaged Saturn October 3rd 2021 in fair to good seeing targeting a CM transit of the 2010 GWS AV. Have good 685nm IR data which resolves the a pair of bright spots on the edge of the NPR at approx Lat+64.6 L3 251.7 and Lat+64.3 L3 259.7. The AV is resolved at approx Lat+41.6 L3 302.2, the EZ has considerable low contrast detail within it and I have marked a bright plume at approx Lat+7.2 L1 315.2. The continuing Southward drift of the AV has resulted in a significant reduction to its Western drift and for this session I used a new ephemeris starting with a very good data point I obtained from the HST OPAL data from September 12th 2021 using a drift of –.35 degrees/day which proved very accurate for these October 3rd data.
