Comments: Imaged Jupiter August 19th in marginal seeing, the 685nm IR handled conditions the best resolving some measurable detail, the R channel data was fair while G and B data was abysmal. Some v-small bright ovals are resolved within the NPR while a thin linear dark band is resolved across the NNTEB. A series of v-small compact dark spots are aligned across the NTeZ, three red barges are resolved in the NEB which is dominated by a thin red band from limb to limb. The EZ is covered by a orange haze and some of the quite intricate structure in the SEB along its border with the EZ is resolved. The GRS chimney is closed and there remains significant activity in the region immediately following the GRS. I believe the evolving remnant of the STB outbreak is resolved preceding the GRS.
