Comments: Imaged Saturn September 27th, initially in fair seeing which later deteriorated very much effecting the rings but still have good depth of resolved detail on the planet itself. The 685nm IR data very nicely resolves the North polar vortex and vertices of the hexagon. Both IR and R data resolve a compact dark spot on the Southern edge of the North polar collar (NPR) toward the P limb at approx Lat+59.3 L3 101.7. Both IR and R data also resolve a bright spot, dark spot, bright spot combination just inside the North polar collar (NPR) this combination has been there for some time this apparition. I measure the bright spot to be at approx Lat+63.7 L3 67.7, dark spot at approx Lat+63.1 L3 57, bright spot at approx Lat+63.9 L3 46.4
