Comments: Imaged Saturn August 4th in fair to reasonable seeing targeting a CM transit of the 2010 GWS AV.
I measure the AV to be at approx Lat+42.8 L3 322.1 this remains in good agreement with my ephemeris. The 685nm IR resolves the North polar vortex and vertices of the hexagon. The IR and to a lesser extent the R data resolves some of the concentric banding structure within the North polar collar. The IR data well resolves a compact dark spot at approx Lat+60.1 L3 11.6 while the R and RGB data well resolve a bright spot preceding the dark spot at approx Lat+63 L3 352.7 this pair of features are long lived and have been seen for some months now.
