Comments: Imaged Saturn July 28th in at best just fair seeing. It is surprising how well the 685nm IR handles marginal conditions. The North polar vortex and hexagon are well resolved with the concentric structure of thin bands within the North polar collar well seen in IR. I note a compact dark spot within the polar collar structure at approx Lat+60 L3 92.5; this feature is resolved in IR and R data and well seen in the animations along with a bright spot in the EZ South at approx Lat-6.7 L1 29.7.
