Comments: Imaged Saturn July 7th in variable seeing targeting a CM transit of the 2010 GWS AV, the first 30 minutes were quite reasonable for my initial IR, R, G, B data run but then not so good. The 685nm IR well resolves the North polar vortex and vertices of the hexagon, also resolving the AV which I measure to be at approx Lat+43 L3 6.0. The R channel data best resolves the concentric structure of the thin bright bands within the North polar collar also well resolving a compact bright spot toward the P end of the thin bright band immediately inside the North polar collar, this spot I measure to be at approx Lat+63 L3 332.1. This bright spot is well resolved in R & RGB data. All data well resolves a large amplitude ripple in the EZ impinging into the NEB just to the P side of the CM. I believe it to be preceded by another two ripples of much less amplitude and their existence is best observed in animated data.
