Comments: Imaged Saturn June 25th targeting a CM transit of the 2010 GWS AV. The jet stream was unco-operative making for variable seeing. The 685nm IR data handled conditions better than did the R, G & B data and was good enough to resolve the AV quite well which I measure to be at approx Lat+42.7 L3 24.3 which remains well in agreement with my ephemeris. The IR also well resolved the vertices of the polar hexagon and also the north polar vortex. The IR also resolves concentric structure of the detail within the north polar collar. The R channel data and RGB were not quite up to resolving the fine detail that would have been there but for the effect of the jet.
