Comments: Imaged Saturn May 27th, had over two hours of not to shabby seeing. Have very good 685nm IR & R data and quite reasonable G & B. There are two bright spots on the edge of the sides of the North Polar Hexagon that appear to be intruding into the edge of the hex. I measure these to be at approx Lat+78.2 L3 21.3 & Lat+78.6 L3 79.1 best seen in the IR data. The 2010 GWS AV is resolved at approx Lat+43.1 L3 68.6 again best seen in IR. There is a dark spot at approx Lat+54.6 L3 5.1 best seen in the R channel data. There is a bright ring of material just inside the edge of the polar collar containing several individual bright spots toward the P limb in the RGB data. The 685nm IR animation covers 2 hrs 4min’s of Saturn rotation.
