Comments: Imaged Saturn December 11th 2024 targeting a CM transit of the large bright oval at approx Lat-49.These data well resolve the classic oval morphology this feature has developed at all wavelengths. I now have four data points for this oval over 21 days which provide a current drift of –11.8666 L3 degrees/day. Seeing was good for this session and have data covering 2 hrs of Saturn rotation. Detail resolved in these data An interesting bright spot in the NPR at approx Lat+55.8 L3 236.7 in 685nm IR data. A compact bright spot just below the ring shadow at approx Lat-10.9 L1 68.2 in 685nm IR data. A bright spot at approx Lat-16.7 L1 350.5 in 685nm IR, R and RGB data. A large bright feature at approx Lat-17.2 L1 30.7 in 685nm IR, R and RGB data. A large bright oval at approx Lat-48.4 L3 190.7 resolved in 685nm IR, R and RGB data. A low contrast bright spot at approx Lat-48.8 L3 246.6 in 685nm IR and R data.
